As some of you may know, I’m the Social Media Manager for Slow Art Day, an international grassroots initiative that organizes events all around the globe at museums and galleries. Participants go to their local museum or gallery and look at 5 works of art s l o w l y for 10 minutes each. Then they meet with the other participants to have lunch and talk about their experience.
I will be helping host an event at the Blanton Museum of Art here in Austin, Texas, tomorrow, but there are over 270 events around the globe, and I’m sure there’s one near you. If you’re in Austin, come hang out, say hi, and enjoy some great art!
